See if you can pick out these 3 main points. To tame the tongue, we must recognize . . . 1) that we will be held accountable for what we say, 2) its power for good or for evil, and 3) that it is a humanly untamable source of terrible evil. And hear the practical hope that James brings!

Becky Van Horn brought the morning message on August 18, 2018 while Pastor Robert was out of town. The sermon was based on James 1:22-27. As she opened, Becky shared a quote from Tony Evans saying “Faith is measured by what you do, not by what you talk about doing.”

2018 Fall Women’s Retreat
The annual Appalachian Association Fall Women’s Retreat is scheduled for September 28-30, 2018 at Camp Joy in Berea, WV. We are going to consider what makes “A Confident Heart” by Renee Swope. Learn & share with other how to stop doubting yourself and live in the security of God’s Promises.
