See if you can pick out these 3 main points. To tame the tongue, we must recognize . . . 1) that we will be held accountable for what we say, 2) its power for good or for evil, and 3) that it is a humanly untamable source of terrible evil. And hear the practical hope that James brings!
The September 8, 2018 message by Pastor Robert is titled “Are We Justified by Works?” based on the scripture James 2:20-26.
Becky Van Horn brought the morning message on August 18, 2018 while Pastor Robert was out of town. The sermon was based on James 1:22-27. As she opened, Becky shared a quote from Tony Evans saying “Faith is measured by what you do, not by what you talk about doing.”

Today’s sermon based on James 1:13-15 was titled “Temptation”.
The sermon on Sabbath, July 14, 2018 was titled “Trials” based on the surprising advice from the scripture in James 1:1-8.
