The Shepherd’s Fold Ministry Seventh Day Baptist Church has extended an invitation for each of the Seventh Day Baptist churches in the Appalachian Association to send delegates to participate in an Ordination Council for Chris Galarneau. Currently Chris is the Assistant Pastor of the Shepherd’s Fold Ministry SDB Church. The purpose of an Ordination Council is for a broader group to examine Chris Galarneau as a candidate for pastoral ordination and provide a recommendation to the local church.
The Ordination Council is made up of delegates from the other churches in the Appalachian Association, in addition to one or more representatives from the Seventh Day Baptist General Conference. The examination time will be held on Sabbath afternoon, June 23, 2018 at the annual Appalachian Association meetings being held at Camp Joy in Berea, WV.
Attached below for review prior to the Ordination Examination Council are copies of Chris Galarneau’s personal testimony and statement of beliefs. Following the Ordination Examination Council, a recommendation will be made to the Shepherd’s Fold Ministry SDB Church concerning the church proceeding with Ordination. The local church will then decide what steps toward Ordination to take next.
